Specifications

Housing

The housing of these units are of galvanised steel, with a square plate or single flanged (ring plate) arrangement incorporating the bell mount inlet and finger guard as standard. All models have a powder coated finish.

Impellers

Ziehl or ebm axial impellers are manufactured from pressure cast aluminium for low rotational mass. The
rotor / impeller assembly is to be balanced as a complete assembly to ISO1940 grade G6.3 or better.

Motors

Motors are to be manufactured by Ziehl or ebm and to be of external rotor design. Motor enclosure to feature IP54/IP44 (for exe) protection. Motor winding are to incorporate class ‘B’ or ‘F’ insulation. Motor bearings are of maintenance free ball bearing design. Auto-reset thermal contacts are provided in the large units. These are either fitted with 3 pin plug and lead or terminated at wiring connection bar.

Testing

Rated fan performance has been determined by testing to DIN24163 1998.
Fan sound data has been determined by testing to DIN 45635.

Wiring Diagrams

It is the responsibility of the user to connect the thermal contacts where provided in a manner to protect the
motor. Failure to do so will void the warranty on the motor.
