Mvc All Metal Vertical Discharge Centrifugal

The MVC range of roof mounted centrifugal exhaust fans provides 8 fan diameters, from 315mm to 710mm in 4 sizes of fan Housing.

The MVC also provides quick access for cleaning of the internal surfaces and a patented hinged weather shield arrangement to provide vertical high velocity discharge.

Specification

Housing

Base, windband, hinged weather shield and finger guard are to be manufactured in mill finish galvanised sheet steel (As required by AS/NZS1668.1:1998 Clause 11.2.5). The impeller motor assembly is to be supported by a galvanised chassis for stability and ease of service.

Impellers

High efficiency backward curved centrifugal impellers to be manufactured in aluminium or high impact polymer materials. The rotor / impeller assembly is to be balanced as a complete assembly to ISO1940 grade G6.3 or better.

Motors

Motors are to be manufactured by Ziehl or ebm and to be of external rotor design. Motor to feature IP54 protection. Motor windings are to incorporate class “F” insulation. Motor bearings are to be of maintenance free ball bearing design. Auto reset internal thermal contacts are to be provided with single-phase models and connections for external activation are to be provided on three phase models.

Testing

Rated Fan performance has been determined by testing to DIN 24163 1998.

Fan sound data has been determined by tests to DIN 45635.
