Specifications

Housing

Base, windband and weather cap to be manufactured from thermo formed UV stabilised polymer.

Impeller motor assembly to be supported by a galvanised chassis for stability and ease of service.

Bird mesh to be standard.

Impellers

High efficiency backward curved centrifugal impellers to be manufactured in aluminium or high impact polymer material. The rotor / impeller assembly is to be balanced as a complete assembly to ISO1940 grade G6.3 or better.

Motors

Motors are to be manufactured by Ziehl or ebm and to be of external rotor design. Motor enclosure to feature IP54 protection. Motor windings are to incorporate class ‘F’ insulation. Motor bearings are to be of maintenance free ball bearing design. Auto-reset thermal contacts are to be provided (integrally wired or teminated at wiring connection bar).

Testing

Rated fan performance has been determined by testing to DIN24163 1998.

Fan sound data has been determined by testing to DIN 45635.

Wiring Diagrams

It is the responsibility of the user to connect the thermal contacts where provided in a manner that protects the motor, failure to do so will void the warranty conditions.
